Project Learning At EFP
Authentic assessment through real world activities!
Students at EFP not only experience a college-like block schedule, but their entrepreneurship activities allow them to develop their leadership, organization, motivation and creativity skills. The sophomores, juniors and seniors here at EFP are currently engaged in five incredible student-led activities that are impacting the community of Lincoln.

Dr. Seuss's The Lorax: Share the Story and Leave the Book! To promote entrepreneurship, the environment, and literacy, students from EFP are going into 3rd grade classrooms throughout LPS to read the Lorax and discuss the story. EFP students and teachers have received several grants to fund the program so that they can leave at least one Lorax book in each classroom they visit.
Cookies and Entrepreneurship! As a continuation and expansion of a successful program last year, students from EFP are working with middle school business teachers and their students to learn about entrepreneurship. The middle school students are taught about the process for selling cookies after school to benefit a worthy cause.
Entrepreneurship Promotion: Sell the Vision! To promote entrepreneurship and the opportunity presented by the Entrepreneurship Focus Program, students are developing, creating and conducting innovative programs to market EFP to high school students throughout the city. Figuring out how to reach an elusive market, students are continually searching for the next big idea to raise awareness of EFP.
